About Us
Skymarket was established by Noi and Arlene Ramasut in 2000 to provide the Thai restaurant market
in the UK with all the fresh ingredients needed to prepare authentic Thai cusine. The Ramasuts
were early pioneers in the Thai restaurant business. When they opened The Thai House Restaurant in
Cardiff in 1985, there were only 5 Thai restaurants in London. Since that time, more than fifteen
hundred Thai restaurants have opened around the UK making Thai food one of the most popular
cuisines in the country.
